Student Enterprise Programme

This year 24 Transition Year students from Enniscorthy Vocational College will be taking part in the Student Enterprise Competition. The Student Enterprise Programme (SEP) is Ireland’s largest and most successful student enterprise programme. Over 23,000 students each year participate by setting up and running a student business and find out what it is really like to be an entrepreneur and get a practical, hands-on taste of real-life business.

Students get an opportunity to experience what an entrepreneur does when setting up a business - from coming up with the idea and business name to making and supplying a product or service and dealing with customers.

As part of the programme students get to attend workshops, receive in-school talks from business mentors, benefit from visits out to local businesses and participate in a County Final, with selected groups going on to represent their region at the National Final in Croke Park.

We wish our students the very best of luck.
