There will be a phased return of students to allow for the safe induction of staff and students regarding the new protocols that are in place. Every effort is being made to ensure a safe environment for all members of the school community on their return.

The following are the return dates for the different year groups:

Wednesday 2nd September First Years Only 9-1pm

Thursday 3rd September First Years Only 9-3.15pm

Friday 4th September Sixth Years Only 9-3.15pm

Monday 7th September Third Years Only 9-3.55pm

Tuesday 8th September Fifth Years Only 9-3.55pm

Wednesday 9th September Second Years Only 9-3.15pm

Thursday 10th September All students back in school

Additional Information:

Face masks will have to be worn by students where social distancing is not possible. It is vital that students adhere to these guidelines.

Students will have assigned seats in all classrooms which they must use and movement between classrooms will be restricted to year group. Where possible please can students bring in hand sanitiser and wipes.

Students will continue to wear their uniform and it is important that they are cleaned regularly.

Parents/Guardians are asked not to report to the school without first contacting the school office. Visitors will only be allowed into the school in exceptional circumstances or by invitation.

Communication between home and school will be very important in the coming months:

-Please contact the school office on 053 9234185 if your contact details have changed. All Parents/Guardians need to be readily contactable during school hours.

-If you are having difficulties with on-line payments please contact the office.

-If your son/daughter is in the very high-risk group and has been told by their doctor that they should not return to school please can you get a letter from the doctor to support this. A plan will then be put in place for remote learning.

-Please also check the school website regularly along with twitter.

Yours faithfully,

Iain Wickham
