Teachers from the Art, Science and Home Economics departments along with the Librarian got together and hosted a Halloween party for all 1st Year classes before their mid-term break. Ms Natalie Doyle, Art Teacher, together with her students and the art club transformed the school with their own handmade spooky decorations. At the party Science teacher, Ms Sarah Walsh, dressed as a nutty professor, made dry ice move across the room and passed around bubbles of smoke while explaining the science of carbon dioxide. A highlight was when Teacher Mr Liam Sharkey told some chilling tales, all true of course!

Delicious home baked Halloween baking had been prepared by the Leaving Cert Applied students who served them up to the 1st Years.  A raffle for Halloween hampers raised money for Crumlin Children's Hospital.

To conclude the Principal, Mr Iain Wickham, thanked all the staff involved for their efforts and praised the students for their work and behaviour to date.
